Calling Women

The same rules as emailing apply with making a first call. Give it a day or two unless you both had just an undeniable chemistry.

If you get her voice mail, you have a few options:

• leave her a message so you don’t have to keep calling

• call and try again later if you get the voice mail, but leave a msg the second time so she doesn’t think you’re a stalker

• keep calling until she picks up. If she asks why you keep calling and didn’t just leave a message, you can tell her you don’t like leaving messages (which also could make you appear more mysterious).

Getting a woman’s digits or email isn’t a guarantee that she’ll go out with you. You still have to demonstrate that you’ve got game. If you only have a girl’s email, here’s what to do:

• A good rule on thumb is to wait a day or two before emailing her. Don’t email right away unless you guys had such electrifying chemistry in person. Otherwise, you’ll appear too eager. Show her that you have a life.

• When you do finally email, make it light and brief. Tell her you enjoyed speaking with her and suggest that you guys speak on the phone to find a time to meet up. Remember to be Confident and not wimpy about it.

• Avoid using emoticons like this ;). It’s cute when women do it but looks lame when guys do (quite a number of women in fact find emoticons annoying). But if you feel you must, at least use animated emoticons: they look a lot cooler. Or, find another way to accentuate your points: like writing, hahahaha or lol.

• If she responds back with her number, great. If she asks for your number instead, then at least it takes the pressure off you to make the first call. Also, don’t get mad if she doesn’t respond back to you right away. Girls get busy and they have lives too.
